Education and Experience
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor serving Texas (License #80171), Washington State (License #LH61102091), and Colorado (License #LPC.0016390). I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I have worked with adolescent and adult individuals with OCD, Social Anxiety, Perfectionism, Generalized Anxiety, Depression, and Eating Disorders in group and individual settings.
My Philosophy
Therapy can seem scary and confusing. It takes courage to seek help because you allow yourself to be vulnerable. My objective is to provide you with a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be authentic. We will work together to develop an individualized treatment plan that fits your needs. I like to use humor, pop culture references, and metaphors when appropriate to connect with you and explain therapy concepts. I use skills and techniques from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which include Mindfulness and Exposure Response Prevention. If you feel stuck and uncertain about how to break the cycle of unhelpful behaviors, it would be my pleasure to help you get unstuck and discover how to live meaningfully.

I offer online therapy from a multicultural and LGBTQ-friendly perspective. I work with people of all backgrounds, and one of my specialties is in helping people in the Asian and Asian American community.
In my spare time, I like to attend cultural and art festivals! I love to travel and collect knickknacks from around the world. I also enjoy spending time with my family and my energetic dog.
